FC Barcelona feared the worst and the trend is confirmed. Big favorite to welcome the very young Lucas Bergvall (17 years old) from Djurgården, Barça could finally be overtaken on the gong. In this context, The Athletic claims that the Swedish talent has chosen, to everyone’s surprise, to join the ranks of Tottenham. While his transfer to the Culers was about to be completed around compensation of €7 million (+ €3 million bonus), Bergvall will finally fly to London.

The British media specifies, in this sense, that the Blues have reached an agreement with his club, Djurgården, for a transfer estimated at around 10 million euros (8.5 million pounds sterling, 10.9 million dollars) plus bonuses. Bergvall is expected to fly to London this Friday, his 18th birthday, to undergo a medical and sign a five-year contract. The player will remain at Djurgarden for the remainder of the season before returning to Spurs this summer to join the first team.
