Barça acquitted by the Barcelona Court in the Negreira affair

Suspected of corruption for several money payments made to a former referee, Joan Laporta’s FC Barcelona can breathe easy. Indeed, according to the latest information from Sport, the Catalan club was acquitted by the Barcelona Court in what is now called the Negreira affair. Through a press release, the Culers were quick to break their silence.

“FC Barcelona expresses its satisfaction with the meaning of the resolution issued today by the Barcelona Court insofar as it confirms the approach defended by the Club and rejects the hypothesis of the alleged crime of corruption. We maintain our conviction that through justice, it will be possible to definitively clarify the facts which are the subject of the complaint and to prove the absolute innocence of the Club.we can read.
