Barça beat City and Real for this Spanish crack

FC Barcelona have snatched the prize for Marcos Parriego (18 years old). The Rayo Vallecano player was on the cards for Manchester City and Real Madrid, but he finally chose to join Barça. “Parri”, as he calls himself, is joining the ranks of La Masia and will first go through the youth categories of the Barcelona club before potentially joining the professional group.

“Agreement for the arrival of Marcos Parriego in Barça Juvenil A from Rayo Vallecano”wrote the official account of La Masia on X to make official the arrival of the midfielder in Catalonia. The Madrid-born player has therefore chosen to join the rival club to continue his progression and will now wear the Blaugrana tunic.
