Barça: Dani Olmo’s debut date revealed

The Dani Olmo saga is finally coming to an end. The Spaniard is currently in Barcelona undergoing his medical before signing his contract with FC Barcelona. According to Relevothe 26-year-old player even has a chance of playing this Monday, during the Joan Gamper Trophy against Monaco. For the moment, nothing has been decided yet.

The arrival of Dani Olmo at FC Barcelona will allow Hansi Flick to have a full range of choices for his midfield: Frenkie de Jong, İlkay Gündoğan, Pedri, Marc Casadó, Gavi and Andreas Christensen, capable of playing higher up, and therefore Olmo. Still according to the Spanish media, the German coach wants to place him as number 10, the center forward. Trained at Barça, he left to gain experience at Dynamo Zagreb before signing for Leipzig in 2020. Since then, he has played 158 games with the German club for a total of 29 goals and 34 assists.
