Coming to the end of their loans with FC Barcelona, João Félix (24 years old, Atlético de Madrid) and João Cancelo (30 years old, Manchester City) are expected to return to their club. The Blaugranas would nevertheless intend to keep them as declared by President Joan Laporta. Questioned by the Catalan club’s media, the Spanish leader was in favor of signing them permanently.
“We want João Félix and João Cancelo to stay, Deco is working on it. The quality of João Félix is excellent, I am happy with his season. Hansi Flick already wanted João Félix at Bayern”, declared Joan Laporta. It now remains for FC Barcelona to come to an agreement on these two issues.
