This summer promises to be eventful at FC Barcelona. Between the departure of Xavi to fill, the various expected recruits and the potential departures to manage, sports director Deco and his friends have their work cut out for them. The Ronald Araújo file will certainly be put on the table, while Bayern Munich has been following his lead for several months and a departure this summer was considered. Nevertheless, the Uruguayan international (16 caps) should continue his career in Catalonia.

When discussing the possible extension of the defender, the president of the culé club showed all his optimism during an interview granted to Mundo Deportivo. According to him, Araújo will stay at Barça regardless of the offer that another club may make. As a reminder, the 25-year-old is currently linked until 2026 with the Blaugrana.
