The adventure of French international Jules Koundé at FC Barcelona could well be compromised.
The future of Jules Koundé at FC Barcelona seems uncertain. The Catalan club, sufficiently equipped in central defense, plans to part ways with the French international during the next summer transfer window, according to information from Mundo Deportivo.
The reigning Spanish champion is open to the idea of listening to offers for Koundé, believing he has a sufficiently competent squad in this position with Íñigo Martínez, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, Pau Cubarsí and Eric García, on loan at Girona.
In addition to meeting its sporting needs, this sale could also allow Barça to replenish its coffers. Koundé is linked to the club until June 2027 and the Spanish leaders hope to recover a considerable sum for the defender, acquired for 50 million euros from Sevilla FC during the summer of 2022.
