Robert Lewandowski’s future at Barcelona would be sealed.
The trend is confirmed for Robert Lewandowski. Indeed, Barça risks being forced to cede some of the most important elements of its workforce, due to a breach of the rules of financial fair play. Despite this, the reigning Spanish champion should not sacrifice the Polish striker.
The former Bavarian, under contract until June 2026, was very clear about his future. “Leaving Barça this summer is really impossible for me, it’s not a subject,” he declared in the columns of Bild.
Xavi reassures
Same story from his coach Xavi, recently confirmed in his position for next season. “I am very happy with Lewandowski. I won’t talk about any player’s future moves, but his contribution is simply excellent. I am very, very happy with Robert,” confided the former Blaugrana metronome.
Lewandowski is also certain to maintain his level of form for the coming seasons. “I feel good physically and it will be like that for the next two years. When I’m no longer physically fit, then I’ll think about it.” said the man with 23 goals and 9 assists in 44 matches.
