Brazilian right-back and former Barça and PSG star, Dani Alves, finds himself stripped of his status as a legend of the Catalan club.

FC Barcelona made a strong decision against Dani Alves. According to Sportthe Catalan club removed the Brazilian right-back, sentenced to four years and six months in prison and a fine of 150,000 euros for sexual assault this Thursday by the Spanish court from its official page dedicated to its legends.

Under the colors of the Blaugranas, Alves won 23 titles and played 408 matches for 22 goals scored and 105 offerings delivered during his time at Barça (2008-2016 and 2021-2022).

Alves, fallen hero of Brazil

In his hometown of Juazeiro, Brazil, residents demanded the removal of a statue bearing the image of the double South American champion with the Seleção in 2007 and 2019.
