Barça miss bounces back in Rennes

Having played in Croatian D2 and the FC Barcelona reserve team, Mikayil Ngor Faye has just signed with Stade Rennais.

Who is Mikayil Ngor Faye? The new Stade Rennais player, announced this Sunday by the Ligue 1 club, is presented as a promising central defender. This is why, we assume, FC Barcelona went to get him in Croatian D2 (NK Kustosija) in the summer of 2023. A year later, the Catalan club no longer wants the 20-year-old Senegalese, until then a resident of the reserve team, Barça Atlètic, with whom he played 35 matches.
