Having returned from injury two weeks ago, Pedri has not been to his advantage during the last few meetings. In the return match against PSG, the young Barcelona midfielder was numerically dominated by the Parisian team, focusing mainly on his defensive tasks. Against Real Madrid this weekend, he did not start and did not leave his mark on the match. The Spanish midfielder was criticized for rumors of nights out, comments which were poorly received by Fernando González, Pedri’s brother, who wanted to defend him.

“Let’s see, tell me what we’re doing? You have to be a clown, you may like my brother’s sporting career more or less but to question his work and his commitment is to be ignorant and not to know us at all. You are a complete idiot and a liar” he sharply responded in a story to an Internet user from X (formerly Twitter).
