Robert Lewandowski has been in another dimension since the start of the season. The FC Barcelona center forward has already scored 20 goals in 18 games played in all competitions. The former Bayern Munich player scored this Saturday in the draw (2-2) against Celta Vigo. His performances since the start of this 2024-2025 financial year have not gone unnoticed by Barça’s management. Joan Laporta’s club also wishes to reward him for all of his work.
According to SportFC Barcelona plans to extend Lewandowski’s lease for another year, until 2027. The Warsaw native will then be 39 years old. THE Blaugrana plan to offer him a lower salary to ease his finances. The ex-Dortmund player is not against extending his adventure in Catalonia, provided that his body allows it. Sport adds that with this possible extension, the Catalan club rules out the signing of Erling Haaland or Viktor Gyökeres… at least until 2026 or 2027.
