Ronald Araujo, who returned injured from the Copa América, will not play again right away. As announced by FC Barcelona, the Uruguayan defender has undergone surgery.
“FC Barcelona first team player Ronald Araujo has successfully undergone surgery for his hamstring injury in his right thigh. The surgery was performed by Doctor Lasse Lempainen, under the supervision of the Club’s Medical Services, in Turku (Finland). The date of his return to competition will depend on his progress.“, the Catalan club said in its press release. As a reminder, he should be unavailable for four months.
