Motions of censure are also fashionable on the other side of the Pyrenees. This Sunday, January 5, the groups, platforms and associations linked to the Barça club published a letter demanding the departure of Joan Laporta and his board of directors and if this does not happen, they do not rule out activating a motion of censure against the current Catalan president. Due to the poor management of the cases of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, still waiting for authorization to play in the Barcelona jersey, but also the non-signing of Thomas Heurtel for the basketball section.

The supporters’ associations also pointed out the management of the club’s accounts and revenues for the 2023/2024 season, as well as the difficulty of renewing the partnership with Nike which ensued. Faced with this official letter from the club’s members, the president of Barça does not intend to change his plans or resign.
