FC Barcelona is interested in Carney Chukwuemeka and Romeo Lavia, two midfielders from Chelsea.

According to the daily Sport, the Catalan giant was seduced by the talent of Lavia (20 years old) and Chukwuemeka (20 years old). The former joined Chelsea from Southampton in the summer of 2023, but has been regularly injured since. Lavia has only played four matches for the big English club.

Barca hoping for loans in January

Chukwuemeka joined the London team from Aston Villa during the 2022 summer transfer window. Since then, he has scored two goals and provided an assist in 20 matches, but he has also been approached by AC Milan and Manchester United.

FC Barcelona hopes to obtain these two elements on loan during the month of January. Its leaders do not have the financial means necessary to recruit them permanently.
