FC Barcelona intends to recover a very large sum next summer by increasing sales.
FC Barcelona sporting director Deco is ready to launch a major sales operation this summer.
According to Sport, Deco will look to raise more than €200 million from sales. The first players to be sold will be Sergi Roberto and Marcos Alonso, who will not be offered new contracts.
Koundé could leave Barça
Deco’s goal is then to sell players and use the money to strengthen the team for next season. Raphinha, 27, is one of the players who will be asked to leave. The Brazilian winger already had Deco as his agent, before he became sporting director.
Furthermore, one of the central defenders Andreas Christensen, Jules Koundé or Ronald Araújo will be sold.
Barça would prefer to keep Araújo, but he is in demand from Bayern Munich and Manchester United, who would be willing to pay around 100 million euros for him.
