Following his loan exit from Barcelona last summer, Ansu Fati has struggled to match the impressive standards he set during his breakthrough season

Indeed, the youngster’s loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion has hardly gone according to plan and the Seagulls will not extend his stay.

However, Fati still has his fair share of suitors, with Spanish teams particularly eyeing his situation with interest.

Barcelona have received several offers for the youngster

According to SPORT, Barça have received several offers for Ansu Fati, with clubs such as Real Betis, Sevilla, and Valencia expressing interest in the 21-year-old forward.

Though talks have not yet materialized, Sevilla in particular are eager to make Fati a key addition for the forthcoming summer transfer window.

Sevilla’s interest in Fati has been present for a while now. In fact, reports have mentioned that Fati’s father is pushing for a move, but the Andalusian side views the player’s annual wage of €8 million as a significant roadblock.

Additionally, several clubs from Saudi Arabia have also shown interest in securing the Spaniard’s services.

With several star players allured by the financial muscle and growing competition in the Middle East, Fati could potentially follow a similar path.

Flick could bet on Fati in pre-season tour

Before possibly cashing out on Fati, though, Barcelona’s new manager, Hansi Flick, aspires to get a close-up glimpse of the Catalans’ former No. 10.

As such, Flick is eager to give Fati a chance in the pre-season to see his current level and whether he is worth retaining in the squad ahead of next season.

After all, the youngster’s meteoric rise earned him immense acclaim and the German manager is interested in knowing if he can return to that level again.
