The situation surrounding Pablo Torre at Barcelona has flown under the radar amid all the noise about Dani Olmo’s registration and player exits.

Despite all the attention on these topics, Torre’s future at the club has not been a major point of discussion. However, if the recent report from Mundo Deportivo is accurate, there could be a twist in the tale for the young midfielder.

Manager Hansi Flick seems keen on retaining a large squad, which could mean that Torre stays at the club this season. Barcelona, for their part, appear content with his current status and are not in a rush to send him out on loan.

There is interest, but his move is not a priority

It is said that Torre has attracted the attention of several clubs this summer. Many teams have shown interest in signing him on loan, hoping to benefit from his potential and provide him with regular playing time.

But it appears that Torre’s situation may not change after all. The decision ultimately rests with the player himself.

Despite having a strong pre-season, the 21-year-old has yet to play a single minute in Barcelona’s first two official games of the new campaign. This could have led many to believe that a loan move would be the best option for his development.

However, in recent days, the talk of Torre leaving Barcelona on loan has faded away. In fact, the possibility of him departing seems to have significantly diminished.

Reports suggest that the young midfielder has no plans to leave the club this summer. Torre’s determination to stay put is reportedly strengthened by the trust shown in him by Flick.

During the club’s tour of the United States and in the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Monaco, Torre enjoyed the confidence of his manager, which may have solidified his desire to remain at the club.
