Dani Olmo and Pau Victor were the two key signings for Barcelona in the summer, but the club had to rely on Andreas Christensen’s long-term injury to temporarily register the two players.
Although Christensen’s return to action has been delayed, Barcelona are facing a key challenge ahead as both Victor and Olmo’s registrations are set to expire on December 31.
Barcelona confident of registering Olmo and Victor
However, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona remains optimistic about securing the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor for the second half of the season despite ongoing financial challenges.
The club believes both players will be eligible for permanent registration by January 1.
Key to Barcelona’s confidence is the recent signing of a lucrative multi-million euro contract with Nike, which will bring in over €1.7 billion until 2038.

This deal, while a significant boost to the club’s finances, has not yet resolved the La Liga-imposed 1:1 financial fair play ratio required for registering new players.
Additionally, Barça are actively pursuing other revenue streams to close the gap. The club are working on various business ventures to offset losses stemming from the failed payments by Libero, which left a financial void in Barça Vision.
These setbacks were highlighted in the latest Assembly, where President Joan Laporta reported €91 million in losses.
Laporta’s recent trips to Mongolia and Azerbaijan are part of efforts to secure partnerships that could provide additional financial support.
The club are hopeful that these initiatives will yield agreements to bolster its financial standing before the January deadline, having already secured a partnership with Mongolian company Gobi.
The reports have indicated that the club are calm and confident about meeting La Liga’s financial requirements.
Both Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor are expected to play crucial roles in the team’s pursuit of success in the second half of the campaign.
