As reported earlier today, FC Barcelona sporting director Deco met with the agent of midfield maestro Pedri to discuss the youngster’s contract renewal.

The 21-year-old Spanish international’s current deal expires in the summer of 2026 and the Blaugrana are eager to tie him down to a new long-term contract given how crucial he is to the project that the club are building.

Two more players discussed

Building on that update, Gabriel Sans of Mundo Deportivo reports that Deco also discussed two more Barcelona players who share the same agent as Pedri, Hector Paris.

Indeed, as per the report, the Barça director and Paris also talked about the situations of Barça forward Ferran Torres and young attacking midfielder Noah Darvich.

Torres, who is currently out sidelined with injury, has a contract with the Blaugrana that runs until the summer of 2027.

However, recent reports have suggested that the Catalans would be open to selling him in the summer if an offer of around €25 million came along.

While the specifics of the discussion between Deco and Torres’ agent are not mentioned in the report, it is claimed that the Spaniard’s name was talked about.

Meanwhile, the name of Darvich also came up during the discussions and it had nothing to do with his future but more with his recent performances for Barça Atletic and the prominence that he is starting to gain.

The German wonderkid has not had it easy since arriving in Barcelona last year but seems to be growing in confidence with the reserve team, as was seen in his recent display against Ponferradina.

Like Pedri, Darvich’s contract also expires in 2026, but there have been no discussions about a new deal for him as of yet.
