Marc Casado has been a revelation for FC Barcelona this season, already establishing himself as an indispensable asset for Hansi Flick with his top performances in midfield.

The 21-year-old signed a new contract in the summer and was promoted to the first-team setup from which point he has made huge strides.

Now knocking on the doors of the senior Spanish national team setup, Casado also appears to have caught the attention of some clubs out in the Premier League.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle register interest

Indeed, according to a report from Fichajes, Premier League bigwigs Liverpool and Manchester United have taken an interest in Marc Casado, along with Newcastle United.

With a market value of €15 million, Casado has stood out this season for his tactical intelligence, vision, ball-winning qualities, and ability to control the tempo in midfield despite his young age.

As per the report, Liverpool are looking to add young, quality players to their midfield unit which already consists of players like Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Alexis Mac Allister, with Casado emerging as an option.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have been on the lookout for a new and young midfielder for a while now to add more balance and stability. Their new manager, Ruben Amorim, is said to admire players who are versatile and show adaptability, making Casado a good fit.

Finally, Newcastle United are keen on the inclusion of a young and promising talent like Casado as it would be a significant investment in their process of establishing themselves as an elite team again in the Premier League.

Casado not for sale

However, Casado’s excellent performance has made him a key player in Flick’s plans at Barcelona this season.

As such, the Blaugrana board, led by club president Joan Laporta, wants the La Masia graduate to remain connected to the club in the coming years and are not willing to entertain any offers for him at present.
