After it was confirmed that Fermin Lopez has recovered from his injury completely and resumed normal training, FC Barcelona fans are set for more good news on the injury front.

The Blaugrana will return to action after the international break on October 20, when they lock horns with Sevilla and appear set to welcome back several injured stars.

Fermin Lopez is all set to return having resumed training while Gavi is also expected to receive the go-ahead from the club’s medical department after having been back in training for close to a month.

Dani Olmo’s return imminent

Now, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, another injured star, Dani Olmo, is all set to receive the green light from the medical department imminently.

Olmo, 26, joined Barcelona in the summer from RB Leipzig, and was in fine form, scoring three goals in three games, before being struck down by an injury in the win against Girona.

The Spanish international was expected to be out of action for a period of four to five weeks, and his recovery has been progressing very well.

As such, the idea is that the former RB Leipzig man will be ready in time for this weekend’s game against Sevilla, with Romano confirming that his medical all-clear is imminent.

According to previous reports, Barça have a carefully tailored plan to reintegrate Olmo into action.

The Blaugrana intend on giving him only a handful of minutes against Sevilla before increasing his workload vs Bayern Munich, so that he is ready to start in El Clasico against Real Madrid at the end of the month.
