Jules Koundé – currently at the French team rally – criticized the title of an article from Marca on social networks. The Spanish media paper included a statement from the player trained at the Girondins de Bordeaux, during his appearance on the YouTube channel The Bridge hosted by Aurélien Tchouaméni. “ I’d be lying if I said I love football as much as I used to: it was my career, now it’s my job », headlined the Madrid newspaper. However, these words have not been translated correctly.
“ The title you posted makes no sense and does not reflect what I said. It is important when transcribing an interview in another language to at least do it correctly and, of course, not to decontextualize what is said. Next time you feel like doing this, at least make sure what you post is correct », declared Koundé on X.
