Barcelona will be under a lot of pressure this summer as they try to sort out their finances and finally return to the 1:1 rule in La Liga with the hopes of competing against all the elite teams in the transfer market and also in the UCL.

However, the task continues to get tougher in theory with each passing day, especially as the list of players who do not want to leave the club this summer grows.

Barcelona were hoping to sell one, or both of Jules Kounde or Andreas Christensen in the summer, but it seems the duo are adamant about continuing at the club, and the same goes for Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong.

One key player that seems to be inclined towards leaving, though, is Ronald Araujo. The player’s entourage does not seem satisfied with Barça’s contract extension offer, and have opened the door to a potential exit in the summer.

No short of suitors

According to a report by Sique Rodriguez, Bayern Munich are still keen about the idea of signing Araujo in the summer, and will likely present an offer upwards of €80 million to Barcelona in the hopes of luring him away.

As it stands, though, no official bids have been tabled, and no concrete interest has been registered.

Barcelona know that Araujo will have a lot of suitors from the Premier League, with clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and others having already penned their interest in him years ago.

Barcelona want to retain him

While the administration will be under a lot of pressure when a huge offer arrives from a top club, Barcelona’s management do not want to sell Araujo in the summer.

They prefer to sell other players to get the necessary cash, a list that could potentially include Jules Kounde, Robert Lewandowski, and perhaps even Vitor Roque, who has only just joined the club, but is already linked with an exit.
