Ansu Fati’s future with Barcelona seems uncertain, and a recent report from AS suggests that the young forward is eager for an opportunity to prove his worth.

It has been suggested that Ansu has been working hard to prove to Hansi Flick that he is fully fit and has not lost his natural scoring instinct.

In fact, in a training match earlier this week, he impressively scored nine goals, sending a strong message to the coach as he gradually returns to the pitch following the injury he sustained during the summer.

Chance against Sevilla

The upcoming match against Sevilla may present a crucial opportunity for Ansu to get some playing time.

With Lamine Yamal’s availability in question and Robert Lewandowski potentially returning with a problem, Ansu could become the only realistic option for Flick in the attacking lineup. This scenario highlights the importance of Ansu’s readiness to step up.

This season, the youngster has had limited involvement with the Blaugrana. He made his return from injury in the Champions League match against Monaco but only received a handful of minutes on the pitch.

After sitting out for three consecutive games, he found himself back playing for Barcelona, managing to play for nearly half an hour against Young Boys. Eventually, against Alaves, he played 23 minutes and created a couple of promising chances.

With important fixtures looming against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, this is a crucial moment for the forward to secure more playing time and build his confidence.

The upcoming matches will be vital not only for the team’s success but also for Ansu’s development as a player.

Given his impressive training performance and the current situation, it is evident that he is ready to contribute significantly to Barcelona’s efforts in the weeks ahead.
