Barcelona midfield target set to meet with PSG to discuss future

Xavi Simons has emerged as a top transfer target for Barcelona in recent weeks as the club look to fortify their left wing ahead of the new season.

The youngster, who left Catalonia for PSG after being denied a guarantee of minutes in the first team, is said to be yearning for a return home and has clauses on his contract that favour the same.

Further, one must also consider that the young Dutchman would arrive on a hypothetical loan, thus saving the club a significant sum in terms of transfer fees come June.
