Bryan Zaragoza was one of Bayern Munich’s biggest bets during the January transfer window, earlier this year.
The young midfielder was loaned for six months, with Bayern set to acquire his services permanently this summer.
However, two months into his spell at Bayern, the youngster has enjoyed little action in the Bundesliga. He has featured in 35 minutes of league football so far, falling behind the likes of Leroy Sane and Mathys Tel in the pecking order.
Barcelona monitoring the situation of Zaragoza
Zaragoza’s recent struggles at Bayern Munich have put Barcelona on red alert, according to a recent report from Diario SPORT.
As mentioned earlier, the Spaniard has found life in Germany quite difficult, with the player reportedly enduring linguistic barriers and overall failing to adapt to German football.
This has led to Thomas Tuchel minimising his opportunities in the first-team and it appears Bayern Munich are open to a potential sale in the coming summer, especially if the player continues to struggle.

Zaragoza is indeed a pacy individual, who can add flair and has the ability to take on opposition defenders in the final third. He is also known for his goalscoring prowess, making him an ideal target for Barcelona.
What’s next?
For now, Bryan Zaragoza will try and fight for his place in the team until the end of the season. His future will rest on the shoulders of the new Bayern Munich coach this summer.
As mentioned earlier, Bayern are open to either a loan or a sale in the summer. Barcelona, for their part, see this as a market opportunity to snap up one of the most exciting attacking talents in Spanish football.
