According to a report by Luis Miguelsanz in SPORT, Barcelona have concluded that Roque will not be part of their plans for the upcoming season or any future seasons.

Barcelona are clear that if they decide to part ways with the player, it will only be through a permanent transfer and not a loan deal.

They are not interested in any loan deals, as they want to put an end to what they see as an operation that did not meet their expectations.

Roque’s representatives have been informed of Barcelona’s stance, and it is anticipated that a final resolution will be reached in the coming days.

Plenty of interest in Roque

Several clubs have already shown interest in Roque. Everton are among those keen, while Sporting Lisbon have also made inquiries, leading to the possibility of a meeting soon to discuss the player’s future.

Roque’s situation has taken an unusual turn, especially considering that he was once seen as a promising talent when Barcelona secured his signature in a deal worth over €30 million last January.

However, he has struggled to adapt to life at the club, and despite being given another opportunity to prove himself this summer, things have not gone according to plan.

Roque’s future at Barcelona has become increasingly uncertain, and it appears he has come to terms with the fact that he may not have a place at the club.

Barcelona only want a permanent transfer

Barcelona, on the other hand, are determined to transfer him permanently and end their association with the player.

Although they have received numerous loan offers from various clubs, including several Spanish teams such as Real Betis, Barcelona has made it clear that they are not willing to take any chances with a loan deal.

They want to ensure a clean break and are actively seeking transfer offers that meet their financial expectations.

As of today, though, no agreement has been reached on the transfer fee. Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth are also keeping an eye on the situation, although neither club has made an official offer.
