Barcelona are prepared to sell Andreas Christensen for just €25 million, claims journalist Luis Miguelsanz via SPORT

This decision comes amid Barcelona’s ongoing struggles with the salary cap, which have forced the club to consider offloading players to free up funds and make room for new signings.

It has been suggested that Christensen, who joined Barcelona last year, has come to terms with the possibility of leaving the club if a substantial offer is made

Despite his initial reluctance to depart, the Danish centre-back is now more open to the idea, especially as Barcelona need to offload one of their defenders.

Christensen is already exploring his options

The Danish defender, who has found himself out of the starting lineup at times, is aware that his chances of securing a regular spot in the team are uncertain.

While he has expressed his desire to stay at Barcelona, he also understands the club’s situation and the need for him to consider other opportunities.

The defender’s agent, who also happens to represent Ilkay Gundogan, is exploring potential moves, particularly in the Premier League where the defender has attracted interest.

While several clubs have made inquiries, Christensen is only willing to leave if a top-level project comes along. So far, no such offer has materialised, but Barcelona are open to selling him if they receive at least €25 million, considering his contract runs until 2026.

Newcastle United have shown interest in the player, but they are currently dealing with financial fair play issues, making a move difficult to execute.

However, Tottenham and Manchester United are keeping a close eye on the situation as the transfer window draws to a close. Although Hansi Flick values Christensen, the possibility of a transfer remains, and anything could happen in the final days of the market.
