Barcelona open to selling star winger if lucrative offers arrive

The impending arrival of Dani Olmo is set to bring forth some changes to Barcelona’s squad-building and we may soon witness a big-profile departure in the coming days.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Barcelona’s top bosses are set to meet this week to discuss potential departures this summer. 

The likes of Vitor Roque, Ferran Torres and Clement Lenglet are likely to be hot topics in the meeting. But Barcelona have not ruled out any surprises, which is why the future of Raphinha could also be at risk.

Barcelona do not rule out Raphinha sale

According to a report from Diario SPORT, Raphinha is indeed one of the players in contention to leave Barcelona in these final few weeks of the transfer window.

Although there are other players ahead of him in the list of players who can be sold, Barcelona have not completely ruled out his exit.

The Catalans value Raphinha very highly due to the quality he offers to the table. Not to mention, he played a key role in Barça’s run in the UEFA Champions League last season.

That said, Barcelona will consider his exit if they receive a lucrative offer for the Brazilian international.

It must be noted that Raphinha still retains a solid market in England, having previously impressed in the Premier League.

The forward also received a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, though Barcelona’s biggest challenge will be to convince the forward to leave the club.

Recent reports suggest Raphinha has no desire to put an end to his chapter at Barcelona, so it will be interesting to see how things transpire in the coming weeks.
