Barcelona and Real Madrid are always in the mix when it comes to the future of young talents from within Spain and outside.

The two La Liga behemoths have their sights set on a number of talented young prospects with an eye on the future.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are already battling for the signing of Franco Mastantuono from River Plate.

More recently, the El Clasico rivals were also mentioned as interested parties in the race for Cardoso Varela.

Adrian Liso on the agenda

Another such player who happens to be on the agenda of Barcelona and Real Madrid is 19-year-old Real Zaragoza prospect Adrian Liso.

Indeed, Mundo Deportivo cites reports in Spain claiming that both Barça and Madrid are interested in the teenage prospect and want him to sign for their subsidiary teams before seeing him grow in the senior setup.

Liso, 19, is a forward who has come through the academy of Real Zaragoza and is currently a part of their reserve team, RZ Deportivo Aragon, for whom he has three goals in 26 matches.

The teenage attacker has made six senior appearances for Zaragoza in La Liga 2, with one goal to his name.

Liso rules out exit

While there may be some interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid in Liso, the teenager has dismissed the possibility of a summer departure as he is keen on staying with Real Zaragoza.

“It’s the club of my city, of my life and I want to be here. It’s an enormous happiness to be able to work with my teammates. It’s something incomparable,” he assured.

Liso has a contract with Real Zaragoza that runs until the summer of 2027. It includes a release clause worth €2 million, which will rise to €10 million when he is promoted to the senior setup.
