With several exit-bound players injured and no longer viable candidates to leave, Raphinha has emerged as a serious candidate to make his exit from Barcelona this summer.

The Brazilian winger indeed enjoyed a strong campaign last season, but Barcelona and Hansi Flick are still going all out to sign Nico Williams.

A new left-winger, needless to say, will put Raphinha completely out of business.

Clubs from England and Saudi Arabia have showered offers on the Brazilian star, but the player has stood firm so far that he does not contemplate an exit.

A mammoth offer arrives

According to a recent update via Adrian Sanchez, Raphinha has received an offer from Saudi Arabia that offers triple the salary he earns in Catalonia.

Needless to say, that is a mammoth offer that the player will be forced to consider.

As revealed earlier this week, Al Nassr are desperate to sign the winger and are willing to offer €100 million for his signing.

Further, their last reported offer included a salary of €20 million net per season but it is unclear if they are the club to have now offered triple his salary.

Newcastle United at his doorstep

While Saudi Arabian clubs have been at Raphinha’s doorstep for a long time now, his decision to reject the proposals has largely been driven by his desire to stay at Barcelona.

However, a move back to England, where Newcastle United are keen, might interest the 27-year-old.

As revealed earlier this week, the Magpies have reignited their interest in Raphinha and are looking to negotiate the right terms for a transfer.

Barcelona, meanwhile, will look to recoup as much of their investment in the player as possible.
