Noah Darvich might have been unable to nail down a starting berth for Barcelona Atletic yet but the young attacking midfielder continues to impress every time he takes the field for the German youth national teams.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has played just five times for Barça Atletic this season, with only one of those appearances coming from the start. In 153 minutes of action, the young talent is yet to score or assist a goal.

But having been called up to the Germany Under-19 camp in the ongoing international break, Darvich showcased his quality in their recent fixture against Spain Under-19.

Indeed, Darvich started for the German national team in an Under-19 friendly encounter against Spain earlier today in Romania.

The Barça youngster saw a number of his club teammates on the opposition side in the game as Spain had the likes of Hector Fort, Pau Prim, Andres Cuenca, and Juan Hernandez, while former Barça starlet Marc Guiu also started.

In fact, Guiu opened the scoring for Spain just four minutes into the game. But Germany fought back through Darvich, who set Paris Brunner up for the equaliser with a stunning assist.

After winning the ball in midfield, the 18-year-old starlet drove forward before playing a brilliant through ball that Brunner tucked away to make it 1-1.

Kjell Watjen then scored in the second half to seal a comeback win for Germany.

Darvich joined Barcelona last year, arriving from SC Freiburg’s youth setup, but has had some difficulties getting accustomed to the Blaugrana’s style and philosophy.

The 18-year-old, though, is rated highly by Hansi Flick and his staff and the youngster will be hoping to build on his international form and make an impact at the club level with the aim of forcing his way into the first-team setup.
