Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski’s future has been put under severe scrutiny on the back of his performances this season with the team.
After winning the Pichichi Award last season, Lewa has struggled in front of goal this time around, and has only slotted 13 goals and given eight assists in 29 games.
He has also failed to come up clutch for Barcelona in important games, including both league El Clasicos and the second leg against PSG in the Champions League, especially.

Not thinking about leaving yet
According to a report published by Esport3, while Lewandowski has been linked with an exit as recently as today, the player is not contemplating leaving Barcelona for several reasons.
He feels very comfortable at the club, and his family has settled in very well in the city of Barcelona, with his wife especially happy with his career move from Bayern Munich.
Further, the player believes that he is still capable of the very best and competing at the highest level because of his fitness. Due to this, Lewa is of the opinion that he has unfinished business with this Barça project.
Lewandowski is currently earning €13 million per season after taxes – which is the second-highest salary at the club after Frenkie de Jong. The bigger problem is that he is on an ascending contract, which will see his wages rise to €16 million by next season.
Saudi no, MLS yes
In case push comes to shove and Lewandowski is shown the exit door, he is not even contemplating the option of going to Saudi Arabia, like a lot of his peers at the same level.
He has reportedly already rejected offers triple his salary from the Middle East, and will likely maintain his stance in the upcoming transfer window, too.
On the contrary, the USA appeals to Lewandowski. He imagines the end of his career in the MLS in a few years. American sides are also expected to send in offers for him by the end of this campaign.
