Barcelona have not had a busy summer transfer window to this point, with only two new signings being made to add to Hansi Flick’s squad.

Earlier today, both of the new arrivals stepped out on the grass as part of the official squad presentation in the buildup to Barcelona’s traditional season curtain-raiser, the Joan Gamper Trophy.

As part of the pre-game festivities, both Pau Victor and Dani Olmo spoke to the fans and greeted the audience at their new home.

Young Victor was the first to speak, and the youngster emphasized what it meant to him to defend the Catalans’ crest.

“Good afternoon culés, just thank you for this warm welcome, it is an honour to be part of this club, to wear this shirt and say that I am a Barça player.”

The striker then went on to detail how it was always his childhood dream to play for the Blaugrana and how it was a dream come true.

“It’s a dream as a child and being able to debut here at the Gamper is special. I will leave everything to give you many joys and be up to the task. Thank you very much, Visca el Barça and Visca Catalunya.”

Dani Olmo, Barcelona’s blockbuster signing, was the next player to address the fans and spoke at length on how his homecoming experience so far has been.

“Good afternoon Culés, I am very happy to return home, it is a dream come true, I really want to wear this shirt and this shield.”

“I have come to win, we have a great team, great fans, we are a great club and we will go for all this season. Visca el Barça,” he added.
