In recent weeks, Barcelona have been on a renewal spree as they worked to tie down several young talents from La Masia to new contracts.

Indeed, the likes of Sergio Dominguez, Joan Anaya, Marc Casado, Marc Bernal, Oscar Gistau, Toni Fernandez, and Guille Fernandez, among others, all penned new contracts recently.

Earlier today, youth goalkeeper Ander Astralaga also signed a new deal with Barça that would run until 2026.

Now, Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are already working on closing the renewals of two more exciting talents from La Masia in Dani Rodriguez and Pau Prim.

Dani Rodriguez’s renewal all but done

According to the report, Barcelona are taking Dani Rodriguez’s renewal for granted already with the belief being that the 18-year-old is close to inking a new contract.

Currently shining at the UEFA Under-19 European Championship for Spain, Rodriguez excelled for the club’s Juvenil A outfit last season before breaking into the Barça Atletic setup where he showed glimpses of his ability.

Rodriguez had been attracting interest from other clubs, but Barcelona have seemingly secured his renewal with his continuity at the club deemed a certainty.

Meanwhile, things have not moved as swiftly as Barcelona would have liked with the renewal of midfield gem Pau Prim.

Much like Rodriguez, Prim also played for the Juvenil A and the Barça Atletic teams last season and showcased a good level, although he was, at times, starved of minutes in the reserve team.

Talks over a new deal have been taking place since he turned 18 in March this year but there are still some differences. But Barcelona are accelerating their efforts to secure his renewal as well and the player, for his part, is also eager to continue.

As such, an agreement could be finalised in the weeks to come as Barça look to tie down one of their most promising young pivot midfielder.
