Barça Atletic phenom Noah Darvich is currently on duty with the German U-19 team and has struck up quite the impression with his performances.

Earlier this week, the teenage phenom was in the news for shining against the Spanish U-19 side in an international friendly where he took to the field against many of his Barcelona teammates.

Sharing the field with the likes of Hector Fort, Pau Prim, Andres Cuenca and Juan Hernandez, Darvich shone the brightest and even delivered an assist in his team’s 2-1 win.

Taking to the pitch once more last night, he was again on song and stood out coming off the bench in Germany’s defeat to Romania as revealed by SPORT.

A class apart

As has become the norm for him with the national team at this point, he once again stood up to the hype around his name with a stunning ‘Laudrup-style’ pass that his teammate, unfortunately, could not bury.

Playing as a No. 10, he showed great confidence on the ball and creativity in the final third, practically dictating his team’s attacking transitions during his cameo.

The 18-year-old’s form in recent games puts pressure on the Barça Atletic management who have overlooked his presence for the first part of the season. He has started just one game for the team in the league and averages just 30 minutes per game.

It will thus be interesting to see if Albert Sanchez moves the German starlet up his pecking order in the upcoming games and considers playing him in the attacking midfield where he is best placed.

After all, the competition in midfield at the subsidiary team is brutal.
