With the new season less than two weeks away, FC Barcelona are working hard to get ready and hit the ground running.

Hansi Flick & co. are currently in the USA on their pre-season tour where they have already put on impressive performances against Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Another friendly against AC Milan is set to be played later this week before the squad returns to Spain.

Lamine, Ferran, and Pedri back

When the squad returns from the US tour, they will be greeted by three key stars at the club facilities as Lamine Yamal, Pedri, and Ferran Torres have all returned to training today.

Indeed, the club posted a video on social media confirming that Barcelona’s UEFA Euro 2024-winning trio reported to train at the Ciutat Esportiva earlier today – a week ahead of schedule.

After all, Yamal, Ferran, and Pedri had been granted vacation until August 12 after their Euro 2024 triumph in Germany last month.

But the trio showed up at Ciutat Esportiva today, reporting to training ahead of schedule as they prepare to be ready in time for the new season.

It must, however, be remembered that Pedri is currently recovering from the knee injury he suffered during the tournament. He is entering the final phase of recovery and it is not entirely ruled out that he could be ready to face Valencia in the opening game.

As for Yamal and Ferran, the pair will likely play their first and only pre-season fixture on August 12 when Barcelona host AS Monaco in the Joan Gamper Trophy clash.
