Barcelona will bring an end to their pre-season tour of the USA with a final friendly encounter against AC Milan later tonight at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

Having given a good account themselves in both their matches against Manchester City and Real Madrid on the tour, the Blaugrana will be eager to end their US trip on a high with another win against Milan.

Balde, Torre doubts

However, Barcelona might have to make do without two young players for the match against AC Milan.

Indeed, as reported by SPORT’s Toni Juanmarti, Alejandro Balde and Pablo Torre are both doubts for the Milan friendly after they did not train with the rest of the squad last evening.

As per the report, both Balde and Torre did not train at the same pace as their teammates in the session last night.

After warming up with the rest of the team, both Balde and Torre went to a corner of the pitch with the physical trainers to do some personalised work.

Both worked out at a lower intensity, without taking part in either the conservations or the training games that the rest of the squad was doing.

Balde made his return from a lengthy layoff due to injury only a couple of weeks against UE Olot and as such it makes sense for Barcelona to be cautious with him.

As for Torre, the report states that the midfielder, who has been in good form in pre-season, has been suffering from gastroenteritis over the past few days and has not been at 100% percent.

As such, both the players could be out of action when Barcelona take on AC Milan in Baltimore before flying back to Spain.
