The opportunity for the young Belgian technician to meet up in Bavaria with a former teammate at Manchester City, Leroy Sané. Delighted to be able to be under the orders of his former partner, the German international revealed that the ex-Red Devil had made him a promise in Manchester that he would one day become his coach.

“He was an absolute leader as a player, someone who always led the way. At Manchester City he looked after us youngsters very well, he supported us. I am convinced he will do a good job at Bayern… At Manchester City he told me he was going to become my coach. I told him that wouldn’t happen and unfortunately it did. I’m kidding.
