As announced several days ago, Bayern Munich was on the trail of Kieran Trippier (33 years old). While an agreement seemed to be reached between the two parties, Newcastle rejected the German club’s offers. And before the match against Union Berlin this evening in the Bundesliga, Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund spoke about the case of the English full-back. He announces that the track has closed.

“It’s settled, yes. We also only do something that we are one hundred percent convinced of, we have always said that. It has to fit all the parameters for the player, for us and for the transferring club, and that wasn’t the case. In the case of Trippier, it’s done”declared the Austrian on Sky Sports. The file is therefore sealed.
