Bayern Munich formalized this Saturday the contract extension of its defender Eric Dier. Arriving this winter from Tottenham in the form of a loan paying 4 million euros, the Englishman will remain at Bayern Munich at the end of his contract with Tottenham this summer. The 30-year-old is now linked to the Bavarian club until 2025.

“FC Bayern and their defender Eric Dier (30) are expanding their cooperation. The 49-time England international’s contract has been extended by one season until June 30, 2025 due to a mutually agreed clause. Dier joined the German record champions on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in January », specifies the club in a press release. For his part, the player was delighted with this news: “I am very happy in Munich. Now my future is sorted and I can just focus on my performances and how I can help the club. We want to win matches and titles again, even if it’s a difficult phase for us at the moment.”
