Not called up to the French team and put on the transfer list by Bayern Munich, Kingsley Coman is going through a difficult period. Courted by a few clubs in Europe, notably Arsenal, but especially Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, the Frenchman is for the time being still a player of the Bavarian club, and should remain so according to the comments this morning by Max Eberl, Bayern’s sporting director.

He is under contract and will of course be in the team (this Sunday against Freiburg) if he is still there. The transfer window in other leagues will be open longer. But there is no real indication that we will start the season with a different team than today.“The Saudi transfer window, for example, closes its doors on September 2. Enough to fuel final negotiations.
