It was a tribute day to Bayern Munich. Indeed, at the turn of a controlled meeting in the Bundesliga for the last at the Allianz Arena, the Bavarians were keen to salute two players in the shadows, but praised for their state of mind: Bouna Sarr and Eric Maxim Choupo- Moting. The former Marseillais and the former Parisian will leave the club this summer at the end of their contract. Having played a bigger role in recent years than his teammate, the Cameroonian striker wanted to thank the Munich institution for his four years spent at Bayern:

“I would like to thank FC Bayern for this wonderful and successful time. It was a dream to play for this great club. I always gave everything for the team and our great supporters.” In 121 matches played under the tunic of Bayern, Choupo-Moting has scored 38 goals. The Hamburg native has given no indication of his future plans at this time.
