For the first time since spring 2010, the Klassiker between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund is being played without one of the two clubs occupying first place in the championship. The Bundesliga shock will come with a major comeback for Bayern. After two months without playing, Kingsley Coman was called up by Thomas Tuchel for tomorrow's match. Two and a half months before the Euro, the French international was delighted with his return: “I worked a lot to come back. Now I feel good and fit. I'm really looking forward to getting back on the pitch.”. Bayern, however, will have to do without two major players.

Released with an injury during Bayern's victory against Darmstadt (5-2) before the break, Harry Kane has still not recovered according to his coach. Manuel Neuer will not be there either, he suffered a torn adductor muscle during the break.
