Where will Désiré Doué play in the coming months? For now, it’s hard to say, but one thing is certain: the young nugget from Stade Rennais leaves no one indifferent. Announced in Paris Saint-Germain’s sights in recent weeks, the 19-year-old left winger is also making waves in the Premier League, while Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have been battling it out for several days in this matter. But that’s not all.

If we revealed to you last January that Bayer Leverkusen had made an offer for the Angers native, it is now the turn of Bayern Munich, third in the Bundesliga last season, to try their luck. Thus, according to the latest information from Parisianthe Bavarian team sent an offer of 35 million euros all inclusive to the Breton leaders to secure the services of the player who is currently preparing for the Olympic Games with Thierry Henry’s team.

Bayern rejected for Doué

An offer that did not, however, meet the expectations of Stade Rennais, who therefore refused it. Adept at young stars after having enlisted Mathys Tel and more recently Michael Olise, Bayern Munich should logically return to the charge in the coming days to grab the stake and thus get their hands on one of the most promising talents of his generation (4 goals and 6 assists in 43 matches in all competitions last season).

After having sold Belocian, Abline, Le Fée, Gomis and Rieder since the start of this summer window, SRFC could therefore lose a new element, and not the least. If huge offers are on the table, it is not Stade Rennais, it is today’s football that requires reflection, on a case-by-case basis. Having the chance to have talents that attract the interest of the biggest European clubs and possibly formulate hyperbolic offers, is really a chance, had also warned, in this sense, the new sporting director Frédéric Massara during his presentation conference.
