Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has resumed group training as the team prepares for their important match against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.

Musiala’s fitness has been a significant concern for Vincent Kompany’s squad as he has been dealing with discomfort in his hip.

This issue kept him from joining the German national team during the recent international break, and it also caused him to miss Bayern’s last Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt, as well as their upcoming game against Stuttgart.

Musiala wants to make an impact

Despite these setbacks, Musiala is eager to return to the pitch and play against Barcelona. His determination to participate in this crucial European fixture has led him to train hard in hopes of being fit in time for the match.

However, it is important to note that while Musiala is training with the team, there is still uncertainty about whether he will be able to play.

The final decision regarding his participation will likely be made by Vincent Kompany during the pre-match press conference.

No Pavlovic

In addition, Bayern are set to be without Aleksandar Pavlovic for this important clash. Pavlovic recently underwent surgery after suffering a broken collarbone during the match against Stuttgart.

He was injured early in the game, just five minutes in, when he fell awkwardly after a challenge. Pavlovic has been a crucial player for Bayern at the start of the season, so his absence will be felt significantly.

As the team looks ahead to the match against Barcelona, all eyes will be on Musiala and his recovery. The clash promises to be an exciting one, and Bayern will need all their top players available to secure a strong performance in this high-stakes tournament.
