Bayern Munich still can’t do it. After Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, Unai Emery and Ralf Rangnick, the Bavarians suffered another failure for Oliver Glasner. The latter, who has already officiated in Germany (Wolfsburg, Eintracht Frankfurt), was approached by the Munich leaders. His profile, his experience and his good results were all assets that worked in his favor. Except that his club, Crystal Palace, did not hear it that way.

Indeed, Bild explains that Steve Parish, the owner of the Eagles, has vetoed it. But that’s not all. The English have indicated that they would only release Glasner if the residents of the Allianz Arena put 100 million euros on the table. Bayern Munich did not intend to spend so much and instead planned to drop 18 million euros maximum to dislodge him. But Palace and the coach under contract until 2026 did not follow up. A new failure for the Bavarians.
