Despite a summer deadline day move falling through, Bayern Munich reportedly remain keen on signing Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.
That’s according to a recent report from Fichajes, who claims the Portuguese midfielder remains top of Thomas Tuchel’s wishlist despite the German’s failed attempt last year.

Agreeing to a new contract at Craven Cottage since his move to the Allianz Arena fell through, Palhinha, 28, is now tied to Fulham until 2028 with the club retaining the option to add another year. Consequently, the midfielder, as per Transfermarkt, is valued at £51 million (€60 million).
How much Bayern are prepared to pay for the 28-year-old at the end of the season remains unknown, but given Saturday’s shocking 3-0 defeat against Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen, theBavarians may be forced to pay whatever is necessary to improve the squad, particularly their midfield, who were outworked and outclassed by Xavi Alonso’s Black and Reds.
Since joining Fulham from Sporting Lisbon in 2022, Palhinha, who has represented Portugal on 24 occasions, has directly contributed to eight goals in 67 games in all competitions.
