Rumors regarding Zinédine Zidane at Bayern Munich have intensified in recent hours. Club director Max Eberl did not deny the reports and confirmed to Skysport be “in the final stages” of the coach search. He hopes to announce the decision quickly, and also clarified that the new Bayern coach will have to speak English at least if he does not speak German. As a reminder, the English press revealed that ZZ had been learning English for several months.

Asked about Julian Nagelsmann’s extension with the German selection, Max Eberl also confirmed that there were negotiations with their former coach.“The wound of the past is still too deep. Obviously we need to talk to coaches to find one. This was also the case with Julian, although we were not in the final stages” he said before his team’s match against Union Berlin this Saturday.
